    Luotettava, moneen käyttöön soveltuva ns. yleisauto. Pientä laittamista silloin tällöin (ainakin meidän yksilössä etujouset katkesivat pariin otteeseen), mutta pääpiirteittäin erittäin tunnollinen ja funktionaalinen kulkupeli. Moottorin toiminnassa ei mitään moitittavaa (ei syönyt nesteitä, starttasi aina pirteästi). Plussaa tilojen muunneltavuudesta ja tyylitietoisista valinnoista suunnittelussa.

    Citroen malleista ehkä luotettavin ja vähävikaisin. TU5 bensamoottorit ovat luotettavia . Eivät syö öljyä ja kestävät monta sataa tuhatta kilometriä kunhan vaihtaa öljyt säännöllisesti ja muista vaihtaa jakopääsarjan aina 100 tkm välein. Kori ei ruostu mistään. Polttoainetta...

    Citroen malleista ehkä luotettavin ja vähävikaisin. TU5 bensamoottorit

    ovat luotettavia . Eivät syö öljyä ja kestävät monta sataa tuhatta kilometriä

    kunhan vaihtaa öljyt säännöllisesti ja muista vaihtaa jakopääsarjan aina

    100 tkm välein. Kori ei ruostu mistään. Polttoainetta menee tarkkaan 7.3 sekalaisessa ajossa. Maantiellä pääsee 6 litralla/100km.

    Autossa ei ole mitään turhaa tekniikkaa joka temppuilee ja on kallis korjata.

    On ABS/ESP, on autom.ilmastointi, keskuslukitus, lämitettävät peilit, sähkökäyttöiset etuikkunat. 12V pistoke edessä ja takana, ja paljon

    muuta. Autossa on hyvät tilat 5 hengellä ja iso tavaratila. Isofix lapsille.

    Hinta-/laatusuhde on parhaasta päästä. Näitä on enää vähän myynnissä. Valmistus euroopassa loppui 2009. Brasiliassa ja Kiinassa tehdään edelleen.

    Hyvin pidetty/huollettu ja kohtuukilometrein maksaa v. 2020 käytettynä suomessa 1500 - 3000 euroa. Euroopassa ovat paljon kalliimpia. Kts. saksan ja ruotsin sivuilta.

    Onhan muuten aivan loistava paketti ja ovat tosi edullisia hankkia. Varaosat halpoja ja muutenkin halpa ylläpidettävä. Muuntuu hetkessä vaikka pieneksi pakettiautoksi. Vaihtui uudempikoriseen Picasso on.

    Tilava perheauto. 1.6 kone turhan laiska ja yllättävän suuri kulutukseltaan. Pienemmällä kulutuksella olisi saattanut jäädä käyttöön.
    Ajomukavuus ok, mutta aika "rimpula".

    Kytkin hajosi kaksi kertaa n 330 tkm matkalla. Turbo , startti, laturi, iskarit ei ongelmia. Käsijarru jumittui muutaman kerran. Piti uusia vaijerit usein. Hammastangossa pientä välystä. Valo/ Vilkkukytkin toimi huonosti. Ovet, ikkunat oli ok. Aika hyvät valot, suht....

    Kytkin hajosi kaksi kertaa n 330 tkm matkalla. Turbo , startti, laturi, iskarit ei ongelmia. Käsijarru jumittui muutaman kerran. Piti uusia vaijerit usein. Hammastangossa pientä välystä. Valo/ Vilkkukytkin toimi huonosti. Ovet, ikkunat oli ok. Aika hyvät valot, suht. hiljainen, monipuolisesti muunneltavat sisätilat. Koneen (hdi) teho hyvä, paitsi ihan pikku kierroksilla. Itse moottori, paitsi ruiskutus systeemin kuminen paluuputkisto, pelasi ok.

    Ainoa ajoa pahemmin haitannut ongelma oli jäätynyt huohotinputki. Ei olisi varmaan sekään jäätynyt ellei viimasuoja olisi unohtunut asentaa talven tultua. Hyvä vastine rahalle. Hyvät ja muunneltavat sisätilat, iso tavaratila, ikä- ja hintaluokassaan erinomainen varustelu, mm....

    Ainoa ajoa pahemmin haitannut ongelma oli jäätynyt huohotinputki. Ei olisi varmaan sekään jäätynyt ellei viimasuoja olisi unohtunut asentaa talven tultua.

    Hyvä vastine rahalle.

    Hyvät ja muunneltavat sisätilat, iso tavaratila, ikä- ja hintaluokassaan erinomainen varustelu, mm. automaattinen ilmastointi ja vakionopeussäädin.

    Oli jo toinen Xsara Picasso taloudessamme, ensimmäinen oli diesel talouden ykkösautona, tämä bensamalli oli kakkosautona.

    Ainoa syy myymiseen oli muutamat pikkuviat, joiden korjaaminen ei olisi maksanut montaa sataa, mutta liikaa korjaamolla tehtynä auton arvoon nähden, eikä itsellä ollut intoa korjailla.

    Kori ei ruostu kuten esim. japseissa. Moottori, vaihdelaatikko ja muu teknikka toimii hyvin. Ranskalaisten sähköviat ovat enemmän kaupunkilegendaa kuin totta. Ehkä yleisempiä joskus 80-90-luvun autoissa.

    Ulkonäkö ei miellytä kaikkia, mutta tila-auto ei ole mikään urheiluauto.
