    Luotettava ja mukava auto ajaa, ainut miinus että tässä ei ollut ohjaustehostinta mutta kyllä sitä silti jaksoi kääntää hyvin. Verot oli vuodessa 247e.

    Edulliset käyttökulut: Vakuutusmaksu pieni, varaosat edullisia ja polttoaineen kulutus kesärenkailla 7,05 L/100km kun suurin osa ajosta tapahtuu maantiellä. 2.0 DOHC EFI KAT-moottori on miellyttävän tehokas ja omaa hyvän väännön alakierroksilla. Moottorilla on ajettu 300 tkm...

    Edulliset käyttökulut: Vakuutusmaksu pieni, varaosat edullisia ja polttoaineen kulutus kesärenkailla 7,05 L/100km kun suurin osa ajosta tapahtuu maantiellä.

    2.0 DOHC EFI KAT-moottori on miellyttävän tehokas ja omaa hyvän väännön alakierroksilla. Moottorilla on ajettu 300 tkm ja se on alkuperäinen ja toimii hienosti. Öljyä kuluu n. 2L/10tkm. Pientä öljyvuotoa, mikä ei ole haitaksi. Voimansiirto toimii hienosti 300 tkm ajetussa hyvin huolletussa autossa.

    Ajo-ominaisuudet eivät ole parhaat mahdolliset varsinkaan talvella ja ohjaus on jonkin verran levoton. Pieniä sähkövikoja ilmenee.

    Jos etsii luotettavaa Sierraa, kannattaa selvittää auton huoltohistoria ja suosia alkuperäiskunnossa olevia autoja. Sellaisia vain on kovin vähän tarjolla, kiitos runsaan teinikäytön.

    Sierra on parhaimmillaan talviautona. Lämmin. Lähtee käyntiin kelistä kuin kelistä. Liukkaalla menee sinne minne kuljettaja käskee. Miinuksena alatukivarren uloimmat puslat jotka ei kestä. Tähän ratkaisuna uretaaniset puslat rally-racelta.

    Tämä yksilö on todennäköisesti paraskorinen liikenteessä olevista vastaavista koko Suomessa.

    Todella lämmin Suomen hyytäviin oloihin. Tämän reilu maavara päihittää jopa monet matalat citymaasturit.

    Tehoa ja nopeutta aivan riittävästi. Ei jättänyt koskaan tienpäälle edes ankarilla pakkasilla.

    Saksassa valmistettu ja sähköpuolikin toimii muuten moitteettomasti, mutta tulpanjohtosarjat voivat vaatia joskus vaihtamista.

    Lujuudesta senverran, että autossa on alkuperäinen pakoputki.

    Miinuksena olen lukenut nokka-akselien nokkien karkaisuissa esiintyneistä ongelmista; voivat kulua, ajoitukset muuttuvat...hydraulisesti ohjautuvat venttiilit.

    Myös Taunuksilta periytynyt "kevytperäisyys" vaatii tietysti ratin ja penkinväliin osaavan hemmon ongelmakeleillä.

    Tilava, hyvä matkakumppani.
